What We Do

Mission Statement:
United Way of Natrona County provides resources to improve lives and build a stronger community.

United Way of Natrona County is a local non-profit organization, governed by business and community leaders who make important decisions to fulfill community needs.  Our primary focus is to ensure local residents have access to human service programs which help prepare them for success in life, keep them safe and healthy, and work to improve their overall quality of life.  United Way’s efforts remain flexible and change as the needs of the community change.

Through the collective efforts of United Way and our partner agencies, we ensure human service needs in Natrona County are being met, from youth to aging; everyone deserves the opportunity to have a good life.  Our three areas of focus are:

  • Basic Needs: Food, Shelter, and Safety;
  • Health: Health services including special needs and senior care;
  • Education: A successful and enriching education from early childhood through high school graduation;

Our efforts are supported each year by our annual campaign, which is a single fundraising effort held in the fall. Monies raised in the annual campaign allow us to assist our partner agencies in providing these essential programs, as well as respond to community needs as they occur.  .99 cents of every dollar donated stays here in the community, helping the people of Natrona County!  We exemplify the philosophy of “Give where you live.”

Advancing the common good in our community is accomplished as a collective whole, we all play a part.  When you give to United Way, you’re not just giving to one organization, you are investing in your community.  Your generosity and compassion are helping provide that hand up to those who are in need, and making a difference in the lives of many.  Thank you for your support and for being LIVING UNITED!!
